Miniature Pinscher Plug

Despite its small size, the Miniature Pinscher or Dwarf, is a dog that will not hesitate to get involved in a fight with larger dogs to defend its territory.

In eighteenth-century Germany, farmers used some Pinschers with reduced size, so that they could place on each corner in order to hunt rats and mice. Probably, this dog is the result of the crossing of English greyhounds and dachshunds, without forgetting a touch of the Terrier.

The Miniature Pinscher is a very active, energetic and courageous dog. With his owners, he is loving and obedient. Despite his size, he doesn't like children to touch him. Some tend to bite a lot.

Pinschers have an elegant, robust and small shape. Its head is narrow and flat, its eyes oval and its ears erect. They have an arched neck that joins the shoulders. In countries where it is allowed, the ears are cut so that they are pointed. The tail is usually also cut. It has short, thick and shiny hair.

Specific care

The Miniature Pinscher dog requires some attention, it needs a lot of physical activity and mental stimulation to develop well.

They can develop eye problems and joint problems, but in general, they are a healthy breed.
